Lex And The City, Hawkman Short Story Preview

On Wednesday, January 29th, which for those of you with a calendar nearby is coming up in a little less than a week from this post coming out, DC’s Valentine’s Day anthology DC’s Lex and the City hits comic book stores.

The premise of this anthology was telling epic romance stories in DC’s various beautiful fictional cities. I had the pleasure of writing a Hawkman story set in his silver age home of Midway City. The story is called “Heartbreak Lake”. It’s drawn by the legendary Howard Porter, colored by Hi-Fi, and lettered by Dave Sharpe. Here are the first two lettered pages of the story for you to check out.
