This Wednesday, July 30th, from 5PM-7PM I will be a part of my very first Los Angeles comic store signing at the wonderful Collector’s Paradise Noho, my local comic store. The signing is for DC’s Kal-El-Fornia Love which comes out that day, as mentioned before I have a Superboys story in that book drawn by the great Joey Vazquez. I will be signing alongside my dear friend Meghan Fitzmartin who wrote a Lois Lane story for the book, and the outstanding writer Joshua Hale Fialkov, who wrote the Power Girl story for the book.
We will be one of TWO signings going on at the store that day. The other signing will be the brilliant team of EE Zann and Jason Shawn Alexander for the launch of their new Image book i, Tyrant. That’s one of the great things about Collector’s Paradise, and their three LA store locations, they host a lot of creators for signings, promote a lot of books, and do wonderful comic community building. I am so grateful to them for having me at this signing.
So if you’re in the Los Angeles area? Come on through, get a copy of DC’s Kal-El-Fornia Love at the store and we’ll sign it. And if you bring some other comics I have done, especially the ones I have put out the last few weeks? You better believe I will sign them with glee!

Not going to be in LA next week but you will be in New England in early August? Boy, do I have good news to remind you about. Chris Robinson and I are going to be at FanExpo Boston signing and selling comic books at Artist Alley table A602. Come on by and see us! Bring books of ours you already have and we’ll sign those too. FanExpo Boston will be running from Friday August 8th-Sunday August 10th, we will be there the whole time. If you haven’t gotten your tickets yet? Do us a favor and use code “Beancon25” when you do!
Doing a convention in the great state of Massachusetts where I grew up, and the city of Boston where I went to many a convention as a young fan? It has me very excited. If you want to see a joyous Dave Wielgosz, this is an especially great opportunity for you.
That’s it for this week. Next week I think I am going to run a big interview with some of the writers who contributed to DC’s Kal-El-Fornia Love in honor of the book’s release.
Until then?
Stay safe!
