I’m Going to San Diego Comic Con!

My San Diego Comic Con Schedule.

Next week I am going to San Diego Comic Con for the very first time as both a comic book professional and a lifelong comic book fan. I will primarily be set-up at the Ignition Press Pavilion across the street from San Diego Comic Con at 200 Harbor Drive, #120, San Diego, CA. I have a signing at their main table from 12-1PM on Friday July 24th, 2026. I will be signing alongside legendary comic book creator Lee Loughridge.

Then, Igniton Press was kind enough to invite me to make their Pavilion my homebase during the show so I will have a table inside the Pavilion where I will be selling copies of Showdown #1 and #2, alongside some of my other comics. If you buy Showdown #1 and #2 (which I am going to be pushing mainly) you buy them from Ignition Press’s register at the Pavilion, and if you buy any of the other comics I will have with me, you buy them directly from me. I will be taking cash and card.

You can also bring me any books of mine you have to sign. I at the moment do not charge for signatures so please bring me as much stuff as you would like for me to sign. I love signing books and talking to people.

Ignition Press’s Pavilion will be open from 5-9 PM on Wednesday, I think I will be there the full-time that day. Then it will be open from 12-8PM on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Odds are I will usually be there from 2:30-8PM on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Early in the days I’ll be exploring the show floor and saying hello to colleagues. On Sunday the Pavilion will be open from 12-6PM and I will be there from 12-4ish before the train takes me back to the beautiful San Fernando Valley here in Los Angeles.

Collector’s Paradise North Hollywood Signing

The week after San Diego Comic Con, on July 29th, 2026, the Detective Comics 2026 Annual is coming out. A reminder that issue features a short Batman story written by me and illustrated by the brilliant Fran Mariscal. My local comic book store Collector’s Paradise North Hollywood has invited me to come to do a signing that day alongside two of the most prolific, best selling, critically acclaimed, and kindest comic book writers in our business: Tini Howard and Matthew Rosenberg.

It’s a double-decker honor to have a story I wrote for Detective Comics coming out on the same day I get to do a signing with these amazing creators. It’s going to be a fantastic day. You should absolutely come out if you can, check out all of our comics, and get some books signed!!!

And useful for both this signing and my Ignition Press Pavilion appearances, here’s a graphic that Collector’s Paradise made that covers a lot of my current comic writing credits.

That’s it for this week. Next week I will be at San Diego Comic Con, and then the following week I will be taking some time off (and doing the signing I mentioned above) but I will be running an interview I did with the brilliant Fran Mariscal, my collaborator on the Detective Comics 2026 Annual story. So you’ll be seeing me the next couple weeks but I won’t see you again until the beginning of August.

Until then?

Stay safe!
