As you read this, I am almost certainly double-checking my luggage before I head off to Seattle, Washington for the first time in my life to attend the Emerald City Comic Con. I will be in Artist Alley from Friday, March 7th-Sunday, March 9th at table O-09, with my friend and fellow outstanding writer Chris Robinson. Chris will be at the show today, so if you’re going, go say hi to him, and then come back Friday, Saturday, or Sunday and see me.

A look at the smaller magazine rack I’ll be bringing to ECCC and will have at my table, with my comics in it.

If you already have books of mine? Come bring them to our table and I will happily sign them. If you’ve never read any of stuff, or bought my books physically, I will have a lot of books at the show on-sale. Including Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Black White & Green (the TPB and copies of issue 3), Man-Bat (trades and a set of issues), Batman: Brave & The Bold #19 & 20 which I’ll be selling in sets, and plenty of DC anthologies and DC giants that I have contributed to over the years. You can buy as much as you’d like from me, I will sign all of it, and I will have bags and boards for any issues and anthologies you buy. The graphic novels/trade paperbacks I won’t have bags and boards for.

I will be going the distance on Friday and Saturday, starting at 10 AM (a little earlier for folks who paid for earlier admission from what I understand) and going until 7PM. On Sunday I will be there until 3:30 or 4 because that’s when I will have to leave for my flight. I really hope we get a lot of foot traffic, new fans coming by, and some people who already familiar with the work both Chris and I have done over the years. It’s going to be a great time.

Special thanks again to Chris who was kind enough to ask me to share his Artist Alley table with him. I have been eager to table at a show again ever since my amazing experience at LA Comic Con 2024 (planning on going back in 2025), and everything I have heard about Emerald City Comic Con is stellar. I think this experience will be just as good if not better because I am more experienced than I was before.

So come on down!

That’s it for me this week. Next week I think we will start going back to longer posts. As I mentioned, I had a lot of work in February which I was fortunate to have, but also I wanted to see if shorter posts led to more engagement. It did not. It’s a total crapshoot like so much else in life. So I’m going to keep alternating between longer posts focusing on one subject, and posts where I talk about a lot of different topics. I’m a chatty Kathy and honestly I missed writing so much for you.

A reminder that one of my goals for the year is to get this Newsletter in the triple digits. I won’t lie to you that pursuit is going in the wrong direction right now, we lost a few subscribers, and I get it…not everyone needs an email from me every week, but we’re going to have a lot of awesome posts coming up, and I’m going to have a lot more projects to talk to you about that I promise you will be excited about.

See you next week!

Stay safe!
